Dai will be M.C. for The Ontario Provincial Curling event -"The 2010 Tim Horton's Masters."  This is a great occasion for curlers in the Ottawa Valley,as some of the very best come to Renfrew!Curling fans are invited to attend ,and support the teams.Ladies and Gents teams will be participating.

An evening to look back at the Olympic Torch Relay- as the Torch came through the Ottawa Valley Dec. 13, 2009. Dai's Olympic Torch Relay Ballad was featured on local DVDs. The song will be performed tonight, and the CDs will be available.

Funds from Sunday's show are sent to The Guatamala Project - a special charity which has seen many Cobden residents donate time and effort to help a village overseas.

Dai and the Band volunteer their time and talents at many community fund -raisers, and are particularly honoured to help HOSPICE RENFREW at this event. Lots of awards and winners-lots of food-afew drinks with dairying friends and colleagues,and then a good laugh ,as Dai brings the evening to a close with some stories,jokes and songs!The Ballad of Benny the Bull"-is guaranteed to go down better than The Titanic at this event!

 

On the third Tuesday of every month, Dai performs for the residents and families at Pembroke's "Heritage Manor". Start time is 7p.m.,and the show begins with Dai's Heritage Manor Song! This regular feature is available to other residences or venues, where Dai provides a show entitled" Dai Bassett's Happy Hour. "With some original, some Canadian ,and some "sing-along" parts, as well as Dai's funny stories and poems, a good time, with a lot of smiles and a sing-song, make for a very pleasant evening.
